Marly van der Velden is a Dutch actress and fashion designer, known primarily as Nina Sanders in the long-running series Goede tijden, slechte tijden. She has played the television role since 2005 and has also appeared in film, voice acting and other series.
She was born in Delft in 1988. She pursued dance from childhood and at fifteen competed in the Dutch championship for novice Latin dancers. Alongside acting, she later became an ambassador for the Human Concern foundation, which helps people with eating disorders.
With actress Gigi Ravelli, she founded the jewellery brand Kuise Meisjes and clothing line Label 13. Their business also included bags made by mothers in India, with sales supporting the Tiny Miracle Foundation. Van der Velden wrote columns for Hitkrant magazine and voiced Audrey in the Dutch version of The Lorax.
She is vegetarian, and the organisation Wakker Dier nominated her in a poll for the most attractive vegetarian woman.
