Mac Danzig is an American mixed martial artist, musician and animal rights activist born on 2 January 1980. He became known as the winner of the sixth series of the reality competition The Ultimate Fighter.
He competed professionally in several MMA organisations, including the UFC. He fought primarily at lightweight and welterweight, and his style drew on grappling, Brazilian jiu-jitsu and kickboxing. On The Ultimate Fighter, he defeated Tommy Speer in the lightweight final.
Alongside combat sports, he works as a musician and is active on animal rights issues. He is vegan and has discussed the ethics of animal treatment and the possibility of competing on a plant-based diet in interviews.
