Maggie Baird is an American actress, screenwriter, teacher and musician born on 29 March 1959. She is known for her role in Picket Fences, film and television appearances and as the mother of Billie Eilish and Finneas O’Connell.
She studied theatre and began her career on stage. She appeared in The West Wing, Six Feet Under, Bones and Curb Your Enthusiasm and also played film roles. She wrote, directed and starred in the independent film Life Inside Out.
Together with her husband, Patrick O’Connell, she founded Support + Feed. The organisation promotes plant-based eating, delivers meals to people in need and works with restaurants offering plant-based food.
