Yeng Constantino is a Filipino singer, songwriter and actress. She was born on 4 December 1988 in Rodriguez, Rizal, and rose to fame after winning the first series of the talent competition Pinoy Dream Academy in 2006.
After winning, she released her debut album Salamat, which included the successful singles Hawak Kamay and Salamat. Further albums, concert tours and appearances in television programmes and films followed.
She is known for writing songs in Tagalog and is a prominent figure in Filipino pop music of her generation.
